About the artist.

I’m Bianca Felga, but you can call me Bika!

I cannot remember the first time I held a paintbrush. While my motor skills were still developing — learning to eat and hold things — a paintbrush was already among the objects I was learning to grasp. So I grew up feeling that painting is as natural as eating.

My playful eyes always insisted on turning everything I gathered with my gaze, and the way nature danced, into poetry. My heart could not settle on just one way to express itself, so it chose to touch, feel, dance and paint — to express itself in every way I felt was needed!

Just like eating, all these forms of expression are a basic need for me!

Inside me there is a studio, my secret place, where I came to know myself and God, my Teacher! Everything that was broken within me — in my attempts to connect with myself and others — was mended with the paint of love.

Today, every movement and expression comes from a perspective that has been restored, healed and set free.

After spending time in the studio, being restored and transformed, I now feel confident enough to let my brushes dance on stage!
